I'm Val D'Aquila, a front-end developer based in the Boston metro area. My primary focus is bringing designers' visions to life with skillfully crafted HTML, CSS, and Javascript. Nothing makes me happier (in a professional sense, that is) than seeing an idea come alive.
This website is a work in progress, as it's been around 9 years since I last updated it.
I've been building websites for a living since 2005. I've worn many hats, from sole web developer creating and maintaining online stores and web registration systems, to UI developer playing with the latest and greatest interactive JavaScript and CSS techniques. I wish I could design well, but my artistic sensibilities just aren't that developed — so the HTML/CSS/Javascript trifecta is the perfect medium for this creative mind/technical background combo.
Offline, I geocache and take photos. I'm extremely enthusiastic about felines, especially my three (rather spoiled) cats: Amber, Orville, and Parker. I'm a foodie (albeit a lazy one - so lazy, that I haven't posted since 2014).
